Use:
Eligibility:
  • Applicant must be eligible for free & reduced lunch
  • Applicant must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5
  • Applicant must be in the 6th - 9th grades
  • Applicant must be a current 8th grader at Walker Middle School or 9th grade student at Sickles High School who attended 8th grade at Walker Middle School in 2008/2009
  • Applicant must be eligible for free & reduced lunch
Special Requirements:
  • Proof of Income is required upon selection into program
  • Must agree to meet with a mentor once a week at your school site
  • Must sign an agreement to stay in school while remaining drug and crime free
  • Must provide copy of Social Security card by graduation

Selection:Scholarship recommendation will be made by the Alex Anston Memorial Scholarship Committee. Final selection will be made by the Hillsborough Education Foundation.
