AFCEA Pelican Chapter Scholarship
Sponsor:Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association
Amount:$2,500 - $5,000
Type:CASH/HCC - Graduating Seniors
Use:2 yr or 4 yr community college, college or university majoring in Electronics, Electronic Communications, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Technology or Intelligence Systems
Eligibility:
  • Applicant must be a graduating High School Senior
  • Applicant must be interested in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
  • Applicant must demonstrate a record of community service, school involvement, leadership and high moral and ethical character
  • Applicant must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0
  • Applicant must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.2
  • Financial need considered but not required
Special Requirements:
  • Student must complete the FAFSA and a copy of the Students Financial Aid letter from the college/university they are planning to attend must be submitted after selection.

Selection:Scholarship Recomendations will be made by the AFCEA scholarship committee. Final selection will be made by the Hillsborough Education Foundation. Submission of application implies consent to include your name on AFCEA Web sites and publications if selected as a scholarship winner.
