- Applicant must have experienced challenges with crime, drugs, pregnancy or other troubled situations and have turned their life around
- Applicant must be a graduating High School Senior
- Applicant must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5
- Applicant must have a minimum of 25 hours of Community Service
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need

This award is intended for graduating seniors who have experienced challenges with crime, drugs, pregnancy or other troubled situations but have turned their lives around and will attend a post-secondary school.- Student must complete the FAFSA and a copy of the Students Financial Aid letter from the college/university they are planning to attend must be submitted after selection.
- One letter of recommendation must be from teacher or principal
